We will never use fillers, we will never compromise quality or purity for profitability.

• Proprietary Blend of Rare and Powerful, Edible, Very Finely Powdered Natural Clays: helps pull out toxins from gums, helps soothe swollen and inflamed gums, brings nourishment to the teeth and gums, gently removes plaque without harsh abrasion, speeds healing.

We will never use:

- Cheap Fillers
Watch out for these ingredients! Found in nearly all "natural" dental products on the market, these ingredients do not contribute to your dental or health care.
Glycerin:
A sticky, gluey SUGAR ALCOHOL that is known to create a biofilm suffocating the teeth and also enhancing plaque build-up. Used for texture, taste and to increase shelf-life.
Propanediol:
Propanediol is a clear, thick liquid used in formulas to control viscosity and to act as a stabilizer. Also known as 1,3 propylene glycol, it is an isomer of the more widely-used chemical, propylene glycol. It is created from (most likely GMO) corn syrup and a genetically-modified strain of e coli bacteria.
Benzoic Acid and Sodium Benzoate:
Used as preservatives, research shows that these synthetic compounds easily convert to “benzene”, a cancer-causing agent.
Polysorbate 80:
It is made from polyethoxylated sorbitan and oleic acid. Polysorbate 80 is used as an emulsifier and to help extend shelf life. Research has found it to be associated with risk of oral and bodily inflammation. Long-term use leads to toxicity in the body.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate:
So why is a dangerous chemical like sodium lauryl sulfate used in dental care? The answer is simple - it is cheap. The sodium lauryl sulfate found in dental products is exactly the same as you would find in a car wash or even a garage, where it is used to degrease car engines. The European Journal of Oral Sciences reported that SLS cause adverse effects on oral soft tissues. It is also reported to cause irritation, inflammation, sores and an imbalance of mouth ecology.
Cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB):
CAPB is an amphoteric surfactant. It is derived by mixing coconut oil and 3-dimethylaminopropylamine. CAPB is used to produce more foam, a surfactant and a viscosity increasing agent.
Products that have cocamidopropyl betaine use chemical warning labels such as harmful irritant, skin sensitizer, corrosive, and hazardous to the environment. This is due to cocamidopropyl betaine itself, or the impurities present in it, such as 3-dimethylaminopropylamine. CAPB is sometimes masked in “natural” products by including “coconut-based agents” in the label.
Potassium Sorbate
A lab synthesized preservative which can cause irritation and inflammation. Research documents that Potassium Sorbate becomes unstable when combined with ascorbic acid, and can be harmful to DNA and white blood cells.
Thankfully, these not-so-natural ingredients are not something you need to worry about with us. We will only use truly natural and pure ingredients. Read more about our standards under the Ingredients tab.
